The Twitter© Revolution is here, and it’s pushing its way through like no other social networking web site has ever done before. Even national news networks like Fox News, CNN and hundreds of reputable radio stations just to name a few are actively discussing, promoting and advertising the use of Twitter in an unprecedented move to get everyone in the nation to sign up for a free Twitter account like it was the best thing in the world since sliced bread. The push is so big, Twitter© doesn’t even need to pay for advertising space as word of mouth advertising from respected celebrities and newscasters (many acting under expressed company directives) is the greatest free advertising of all time.

Shouldn’t our government be concerned and take a closer look at this newest privacy devastating technology to trick users to spy on their own minute by minute activities? Shouldn’t law enforcement be happy with GPS tracking data from cell phones and stored Internet searches for investigational purposes? Not in the least! Not only is Twitter spreading faster than a wildfire, but it also has the mother of all endorsers on its side complete with directives that impose its use upon government employees: the White House.

One of the many subordinate federal government agencies that advocate the use of Twitter is the GSA (Government Supply Administration), which manages government IT contracts is actually tasked with training federal workers to use Twitter and other Web 2.0 technologies. The overt push is also a government directive that will result in nearly every resident in the USA voluntarily giving up their physical movement’s and most inner thoughts online and in real-time – through deceit. Under the guise of an “Open Government Directive” in President Obama’s Jan. 21 memo, Twitter© is championed as transparency and open government at a time when (ironically) the country’s national security is threatened by over some daily 3000 cyber-attacks chipping away at our infrastructures such as airports, hospitals, communications, defense and power plants - from new superpower wannabe’s.

Twitter© is the first social networking site to be officially rammed down our throats while the general public doesn’t even know to what extent it could be dangerous as no security information is being released. Not only are hard working honest tax-payers enjoying this new “free” upgrade to a real-time technology, but so are the perverts at large who still lurk on Facebook© and MySpace©, a problem we still haven’t solved.

But hey, Oprah Winfrey and a whole host of other popular and prominent celebrities are doing it, so it can be all that bad now or can it? Big names dropping big names is what its all about to most people these days, so peer pressure will surely run it’s course to finish the job as usual. But while the “in-crowd” continues to push Twitter like never before in history, many computer security experts – like this one – give the following advice in the interim: Remember the tale of the “Pied Piper” and don’t share your most inner thoughts, pictures and privacy with anyone no matter how “cool” and tempting the newest technology may seem.

Here's the problem: Everyone knows that reading someone else's mail is a federal crime. Yet reading someone else’s e-mail - isn't. Demanding someone to turn over financial records requires a search warrant, but hacking into their computer to look at what they processed in their tax software isn't. Although actions that take place over the Internet are the same as those that take place in the virtual world are essentially the same - the laws that govern them are often very different.

Governments are also reluctant sometimes to pass legislation that protects consumers and citizens privacy rights over the Internet simply because they reserve the right to violate privacy rights too. But you don't have to live in a banana republic to experience cyber-intrusions and rights violations by both the bad guy's AND the government. Germany for example has been intercepting business and private Internet communications since July 2003.

The German Finance Ministry doesn't trust German citizen e-tax returns, and so in an effort to see if they are running "two books", they routinely pry into their business and home computers to see if there is any accounting software that might show otherwise. If there are any discrepancies, Germans can expect the tax man to pay them a visit, confiscate their computers and conduct an audit.

The government of Saudi Arabia controls the Internet gateway of it’s entire county. Whenever the Saudi King decides to separate his country from the GIG (Global Internet Grid) for whatever reason - said everywhere to be in the citizens own best interest of course - he can do so at his discretion, at anytime and without warning.

Many countries have similar laws, capabilities and knowledge on how to check-up on their citizens, and in some instances, they even cross International borders committing espionage. They don’t do it because it is right, but because they can. But if you think were safe in the U.S.A. just because we have a constitution, think again. Every time a crime is committed, we have the capability of using cell phone records and computer search records to place suspects at the scene of a crime, gather data and build a case, but beyond that there are no self-policing laws or internal policies that would prevent such actions from being taken against innocent citizens at large for other more questionable reasons.

Recently, universities have been offering a free campus alert system that (supposedly) would send each student, staffer and faculty an alert SMS whenever there is a threat such as a "shooter on campus" for campus lock down and taking cover. Although this seems like a great idea that could save lives, unfortunately it involves the use and misuse of related Global Positioning System (GPS) technology that not only tells law enforcement the exact location of the shooter, but also reveals the exact location in real time of everyone else - at all times.

The initial justification would be of course the fact that knowing the exact location of a shooter on campus would greatly benefit SWAT teams in the quick apprehension of said individual(s), but this comes at the expense of tracking the exact location of everyone else 24/7, for other unknown reasons whether there will ever be a shooter incident or not.

Now while a parent has a right to subscribe to a cell phone GPS tracking service to know where their child is at all times during the day, the parents of university students, staff and faculty do not. Furthermore, the alert system is not entirely explained when advertised on campus. Only the benefits of the alert service are explained, thereby leaving no known additional reasons for the subscriber to fully weigh and consider in exchange for disclosing their whereabouts 24/7, when and if there will ever be a shooter on campus. There are no known "full disclosure" laws for such services at this time.

So as you can see, not only are Orwellian times a possibility of the future, but already a reality of the present, with governments, corporations and organizations everywhere capitalizing on citizens computer illiteracy to push bad legislation. Moral of the story is - if someone wants to trick you into signing up for a service or offer you a technology to do your job better, pay your taxes faster and/or make your life more convenient - you can be sure it is a double edged sword that robs you of your constitutional rights to privacy through covert "search and seizure" over the Internet.

Fortunately, there are steps you can take and things you can do to guard some of your privacy some of the time without having to be a criminal or having something to hide. Reply here with a question or comment and I will answer you for free.

That's EXACTLY what's about to happen, if Congress passes two new bills... Unless YOU help to stop them!

According to news reports, two new Senate bills -- S. 773 and S. 778 -- "would grant the White House sweeping new powers to access private online data, regulate the cybersecurity industry and even shut down Internet traffic during a declared 'cyber emergency.'"

These two new bills are both part of what's being called the "Cybersecurity Act of 2009."The Act would create a new bureaucracy, the "Office of the National Cybersecurity Advisor,"which would be charged with "defending the country from cyber attack"... and would report directly to Barack Obama.

But that's not all it would do: it would also grant the Secretary of Commerce access to all privately owned information networks deemed to be "critical"to the nation's infrastructure, "without regard to any provision of law, regulation, rule or policy restricting such access."

Did you read that? The Secretary of Commerce, reporting directly to Mr. Obama, would be able to snoop through ANYTHING connected to the Internet that a President decides is "critical"to look at. And it doesn't matter what the law says -- they get to do this whenever and wherever a President wants them to.

Talk about UNCONSTITUTIONAL! We MUST NOT let Barack Obama's cronies in Congress get away with this!

TELL CONGRESS TO REJECT
GIVING BARACK OBAMA TOTAL CONTROL OF THE INTERNET!

The Fourth Amendment to the United States Constitution states:

"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."

It's clear: giving the U.S. Department of Commerce oversight of the "critical" networks -- like banking records -- would give the federal government access to confidential, private information obtained without cause or warrant, which is a CLEAR violation of the U.S. Constitution's prohibition against unlawful search and seizure!

What exactly are these "critical infrastructure networks"that Barack Obama would have the power to "take offline"whenever he wants to? The examples they give are things like "banking, utilities, air/rail/auto traffic control, and telecommunications."

WHAT??? Exactly HOW do you take the telecommunications networks off of the Internet, when that's what the Internet is comprised of? And if YOUR bank gets taken offline, don't you think you might go into your branch and ask for all of your deposits in cash? Don't you think EVERYONE might do that?

According to one Senate document that attempts to "explain"the bills, this Act "addresses our country's unacceptable vulnerability to massive cyber crime, global cyber espionage and cyber attacks that could cripple our critical infrastructure."

In a statement explaining the bill's introduction, liberal Democratic West Virginia U. S. Senator Jay Rockefeller said, "We must protect our critical infrastructure at all costs -- from our water to our electricity, to banking, traffic lights and electronic health records -- the list goes on."

Senator Olympia Snowe, a liberal Republican from Maine who is co-sponsoring the bill, gave us this dire warning: "If we fail to take swift action, we, regrettably, risk a cyber-Katrina."

In other words, we need to give up our freedoms and liberties in order for the government to give us "security."

What was it that Benjamin Franklin once said? "Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."

WE MUST NOT GIVE THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT THESE ABSOLUTE POWERS!

Why would anyone push such a bill? Two reasons: power and money.

The far-left Democrats who now control our government are willing to stop at nothing to give themselves more and more and more power, as well as control over our private lives! And they're backed by law enforcement and people in the security industry who want to ensure more government dollars go to them.

Politicians and lobbyists want to take away our Constitutional rights -- we need to make sure they FAIL. And we've got a GREAT way to do that!

We've set up a website where you can send "blast faxes"to EVERY SINGLE MEMBER OF CONGRESS, telling them to say NO to this attempt to take over the entire internet! Keith Oldermann want's Bush's blood and lectures Obama on deciding not to prosecute. Oldermann doesn't understand that no new president can prosecute a previous one unless they are willing to run the risk of being prosecuted themselves when they leave office. Bush never commited crimes against humanity, sleep deprivation (torture?) or genocide and the liberals are too chicken to go after radical Islam for be-headings and (real) torture. Bush is an easier target to them, that's all.

The birth certificate below is a recently re-issued one on form OHSM 1.1 (revision 11/01) Laser (see bottom left). The true original seems to be impossible to locate and the erased certificate # makes the one below (from his website) impossible to verify. No wonder there are so many questions and speculations about President Obama's U.S. citizenship.

Although there seems to be no reason to presume Obama was anywhere outside of the U.S.A at the time of his birth, an original birth certificate with a file # issued at the time of his birth should be easily obtainable from the Punahou School files in Honolulu, when he registered there in the late 1970's.

You see, even though it's past January 20, 2009 -- inauguration day -- Barack Obama can still be stopped from becoming an illegal "squatter" in the White House.

Frankly, the evidence that Barack Hussein Obama was born in Africa -- not Hawaii as he claims - and, therefore, cannot serve as the President of the United States, is compelling.

First, Mr. Obama's refusal to release his birth certificate. If he has nothing to hide, what does he gain by refusing to allow the press to see the birth certificate?
Second, the contention by Barack Obama's half-sister, Maya Soetoro-Ng, that Mr. Obama was born in a particular Hawaiian hospital, only to claim that it was in a different hospital several years later.
Third, the erecting of a wall around Barack Obama's grandmother, the late Madelyn Dunham, by Mr. Obama, thus cutting off access to the one person then alive who would have been present if he was actually born in Hawaii.
Fourth, the posting of law enforcement personnel at the two hospitals in Honolulu mentioned by Ms. Soetoro-Ng in an effort to block the press from discovering the truth about the birth certificate.
Fifth, a taped phone conversation with Mr. Obama's step-grandmother in Kenya, who claims that she was present at his birth ... in what is now called Kenya!
Sixth, the "birth certificate" posted on the Obama campaign website and other liberal websites. Since Barack Obama was born in 1961, long before laser printers and office computers, his original birth certificate would be typewritten ... unlike the laser printed "copy" purported to be genuine.

The evidence demands that Barack Obama answer why he has been hiding the truth from the American people about his eligibility to run for, and serve as, President!

That's right. Not only does Mr. Obama continue to categorically refuse to produce the decisive evidence proving whether he is a "natural born" citizen, his high-priced LA-based "dream team" of attorneys has USJF squarely in its crosshairs! And they're loading both barrels!

So, unless you help me and my team here at USJF to stand our ground in court, Mr. Obama's hired guns could blow a financial hole in USJF's ability to be the proverbial thorn in Mr. Obama's side!

Barack Obama continues to battle any attempt to see his real birth certificate - producing only a phony one posted on his website -- as well as fighting us tooth and nail as we seek access to his college records... records which we believe may prove that he was foreign born!
