HERE WE GO AGAIN... POSSIBLE IMMINENT ATTACK ON HAWAII AND NO POLITICAL WILL TO PROTECT
I live in Hawaii, just a few miles away from Pearl Harbor. To us it seems we are once again up on the sacrificial offering table of history, and the USS Arizona at the bottom of the ocean hasn't taught this administration a darn thing. When we get blown away eventually, then maybe, maybe, Obama will do something about it. People here thought he would be the last to jeopardize our safety since he was raised here! What disappointment. Beginning tomorrow (Monday morning) our Governor Linda Lingle and National Guard Commander General Lee will be pulling out their hair on this. If a North Korean missile approaches our Islands, there will be no place for us to run and hide, the usual food run will begin and outbound flights will be all booked up by Monday evening. We have 7 U.S. bases around Honolulu (making us a excellent bull's eye) with a fair missile defense system that probably won't be activated thanks to the political emasculation of Obama. If Japan doesn't step up to the plate to protect us (and why should they?) we will be up to our necks in (N. Korean) Kimchee. On behalf of the 1.3 million people that live here, big Mahalo's Barry!
